APPLE V/S GOOGLE

Apart from the technical aspects which we discussed in our previous part of this blog we have basic functions of smartphone to be compared and discussed.So here we go:

BASIC  FUNCTIONS

LOGIN  -TouchID  fingerprint sensor of iPhone gives you a more secure option than face recognition or location provided by android devices.

INTERFACE   AND  NOTIFICATIONS  - Both smartphones use touch screen and both are distinctive in their respective features. If Apple boasts of aesthetic value, google has more than extra.If it comes to notifications google’s android is far clear .

CALL MAKING  -Android laid out the most frequently used contacts very smartly but face time of iPhone is a clean winner here.

CAMERA  -Quality of camera varies from one model to another in case of android but iPhone camera quality is awesome with consistency. But managing your images in google photos has no match with awful iCloud.

APP STORES  -Both smartphones have great app stores. But android differentiates between more important and less important apps very smartly than iOS.

MUSIC  -Google play Music offers you unlimited list of free music to enjoy whereas apple has its iTunes to download and no free option.

EMAILS  -Gmail is the main mail app for android but you can enjoy others as well with same ease and comfort. On the other hand email checking is a little time consuming in iphone parts .

DIRECTIONS- Google maps app has no competition. It is simply the best.

SEARCHING  -If you are an internet player then it is foolishness to tell you which one is better, but for newbies I have to share this information that google now is way ahead of siri from apple. No doubt siri is also good in its own style.

VIBRATION CONTROL  -  Many a times we have to switch our mobile to vibration mode, in that situation  it consumes a lot of taps to do the same in android devices. But iPhone has a physical button to press it only. A very big aid indeed.

DATA  SHARING  WITH  PC  -  If you wish to share your data like photos, music etc. you just plug in USB data cable of android phone to your PC and transfer what you want to and vice versa.But it is not that much easy in the case of iPhone, first you have to download iCloud and only then you can enjoy.

             Once you have own a thing you have to maintain it timely. In the case of mobiles also updations and repairs are bound to be happened.  For android parts a number of repair centres are available. A good samsung repair center  put its 100% to provide you best service. In case of iphone , users easily get best service and all the genuine apple repair parts under one roof .

APPLE V/S GOOGLE

Better half is the word which we use with a lot of love and possession. It denotes the value of the respective person in our life. But nowadays an other thing that has been emerging as a competitor  of our better halves is none other than small chunks of technology which we all call   -   smartphones.

Yes, you have read correct. These smartphones are so smart that everyone has gone crazy for them. If you have one with you ,still your eyes pop up as soon as you watch an other one.

But buying a new  smartphone has turned out to be the most frenetic task now. As market is over flooded with the various models of smartphones , you would get bogged down in details at the time of purchasing.

So here we have tried a little bit to accumulate some facts regarding the smartphones which might be helpful  for you while purchasing.

In the segment of smartphones , the two biggest performers are Android and iOS. These are operating systems which make your smartphones to work. Android is a product of google whereas iOS is a brain child of apple. DESIGN  -Apple has a very limited design and style for its iPhone. So if you look up to a phone which suits your personality and taste , you must go for second one. You would surely get a number of  sleek and stylish handsets of your choice.

WIRELESS CHOICE  -Again  google phones enjoy a lot more telecom services in comparison to apple product. There  are only a few companies which has compatible sim cards with iPhone.

MOBILE STORES - There are numerous electronic stores for android devices where everyone can easily search favorite one. Even Apple has the same story. A lot of apple stores are there to serve people. There are some electronic stores where you would get both products as well as samsung cell phone parts and all apple accessories .

SECURITY - ios assures the security of your phone better than the google one. Between the two, Android is largely attacked by the malware functions, as its application provides an open source. But google  has taken some serious steps regarding the security concerns -Samsung KNOX is an example.

PRIVACY  -Again apple is a winner here. Anytime you install an app in google device you will have to accept their terms like submission of  personal details , contact list, photos etc. But no such inanity is there in ios.

BATTERY  LIFE  - Android based devices have more battery life than iOS based devices. But it depends on the usage of every individual. Moreover iPhone batteries are fixed.

MEMORY -Cell phones with android  platform support expandable memory cards. This feature allows the users to upgrade the device according to their choice. This feature is not available in iPhone. As a fact SD cards may occur problems in your device sometimes.

ADOBE FLASH  COMPATIBILITY  - If you want to play games which are driven by Adobe Flash then sorry for iPhone users as iPhone does not support flash software. However some versions of Android can play such games  for you.

DUAL  SIM  FACILITY  - Those who love having dual sim cards in a single device should opt android phones as iPhone won’t allow you more than one wireless choice.

CUSTOMIZATION  -Customization is far easier and fun experience for Android users rather than iPhone owners. Be it widgets or apps or multiple home screens – all are according to your unique style in Android.
